Core Court Reporting

Total tuition for this 2 year* program is $15,840 or $685/MO**.
Classes meet Tuesdays or Thursdays. Day 9:30AM - 12:20PM or evening 6:00PM - 8:50PM.

 

New York School of Court Reporting and Career Institute cost is subject to fees other than tuition including the registration fee ($100), books ($450), computer software and workbook ($300), Stenotype machine ($1,650), laptop computer ($450) and steno-paper ($200). Note that refurbished Stenotype machines can be purchased at a significant discount.

* – This is a self-paced program. Individual progress will vary. The average time to complete this program is approximately 2 to 3 years depending on the amount of student practice time outside of class. A Certificate of Completion will not be granted until all course requirements are met.
** – Tuition per 17-week term is $2,640. Tuition may be paid in four monthly installments of $685. .Monthly installment payments are only available via direct debit.
Charges and refunds are made in accordance with school enrollment agreements filed with, and approved by, The New York State Education Department.

Financial Assistance

Student Payment Plans

The New York School of Court Reporting and Career Institute offers tuition payment plans to assist students in managing their scholastic budget.  Tuition is billed per term ($2,640), and students are given the option to pay-as-they-go (for only $685/mo*), graduating debt free.

 

Federal StuDent Loans

The school does not offer Financial Aid nor Federal Student loans.


NY State Department of Labor

 

The New York School of Court Reporting and Career Institute is an authorized Eligible Training Provider with both the NY State Department of Labor and Westchester-Putnam One-Stop (WPOS)

These programs allocate state and federal funds to train qualified individuals. Please contact your local New York State Workforce One Stop Center directly to see if you  qualify.

NY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

ADULT CAREER AND CONTINUING EDUCATION SERVICES-VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION (ACCES-VR)

The New York School of Court Reporting and Career Institute is eligible an eligible training provider for students who qualify for ACCES-VR grants from the NY State Education Department. ACCES-VR assists individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living through training, education, rehabilitation, and career development.
